XI WORLDWIDE: Welcome and Introduction to Team XI!

Everyday IamXI and myself are working behind the scenes to provide our loyal readers with quality content to grow our base. So in that spirit today is a big day in the XI family! We're excited to tell you that Team XI has officially grown into a team of 5 contributors and content researchers (G. Stone, Xtherapist & XIX will be the news names seen around XI) Please be on the look out for the many articles and thelpful information posted by our new contributors.

So without further adu...welcome to the XI family and here's an introduction of what's in store from the new members of the XI team!

G. Stone:

G. Stone is XI’s Socialite and weekly contributor. She’s a regular on the New York City social scene and is an expert of what’s hot and what’s NOT in the world of fashion! To compliment her writing credentials for XI, G. Stone also contributes to Limitè Magazine, where she writes articles about up and coming designers and collections, as well as Socially Superlative, where she discusses events held in the New York metro area. Not to be confused with your average socialite G. Stone is a loving mother and wife who works in the finance industry by day.

Xtherapist:

Xtherapist is XI’s therapist and weekly contributor. She's in her late 20's and prides herself on being a strong independent woman. Currently she resides on the East Coast with her VERY significant other and their 6 month pit bull terrier Jordan. By day she’s a Child & Family Therapist for a non-profit organization that has more than 20 programs committed to serving children and families. Xtherapist holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and is currently working toward enrolling in a doctorate program to polish off her educational credentials. She has worked in the mental health field for 6 years and prior to that she taught kindergarten. Her areas of expertise include nightmares, trauma, and mood disorders. In her spare time she enjoys reading and taking trips to Starbuck’s for her favorite drink, Iced Vanilla Chai Tea Latte- non fat milk! Xtherapist is also passionate about physical health and has recently been working towards getting healthier with daily exercise and proper nutrition. As a new blogger she's excited to be part of the XI team and looks forward to sharing ideas and topics with the XI family. J. Probe:

J. Probe is XI’s Content Contributor & Researcher. She’s our resident “go-to” person responsible for researching materials submitted for posting on the site as well as validating items for authenticity. Because of the role we’ve taken on as a relevant and credible online publication we pride ourselves on this aspect of our site as a key factor to the XI brand. XIX is knowledgeable and well-versed on various topics of interest and is well read and caught up with many current events we include on our website. She is our trusted source for factual information and her work is invaluable to XI.

What's in Store...

So we've been working on lots of content to keep ourselves and this blog brimming with information, and we'd like to take this opportunity to give you a preview of things to look for!

Musing Over Macchiato's & Morning Papers is my column which will cover current events from top news networks all over the world. I am a certified NERD and I like sharing so I'm pulling some of the days tops news and headlines and getting your thoughts on them.

Intercepted! (get it...I'm trying to jack the "ball" code for the "platform" from the male dominated arena of sports) To reassure the fellas...this site is for you too! Intercepted is sports, mainly football and basketball, from my perspective as I tap into my inner "bruh" to deliver analysis and information and of course my opinions on what's happening in the world of sports. Nothing will be left out as this is one of my FAVORITE things to talk about.

Fashion forward news (name is coming)...who wants to read about ish after it has hit the store...NO THANK YOU! We're bringing what's hot before it's hot and what's NOT nor ever will be, on a consistent basis for men and women. Everyone wants to look good at all times...right?!

XTherapy - The best thing about living the XI life is knowing who XI knows. And we know some of the brightest and best professionals in the field today. XTherapy will be our "Woo Saa" segment, where YOU get to ask our resident and BOARD CERTIFIED therapist any and everything that's on your mind. Mom's an alcoholic ask the Xtherapist how to cope with it, Dad's dating your best friend ask the Xtherapist how to cut that chick off without ruining your life and not kill your dad in the process. Wanna get out of a toxic relationship or friendship ask our Xtherapist and she'll walk you through all of it. No subject is off limits no issue is taboo!

Twitspiration - From time to time we read updates from "tweeple" we follow on Twitter that we have to share and share we will with you.

Word of the day: Like everything else we have what we call our own form of communication that we want to share with you. Follow the words and incorporate them into your every vocabulary, outside of the office of course, and you'll be speaking "chic" in no time!

XI Healthy You is where Healthy and Fitness information will be discussed at least once a week. I'll be sharing my stories from boot camp "BC Diaries" and my organic eating lifestyle...yes I'm one of "those" people with all of you. And I want you to do the same! There's nothing more eXclusive than looking and feeling great at all times.

XI U (eXclusivity, Inc. University) - We're no experts but we can offer you help on many issues. XI U is our version of online education and teaching. We've learned a lot over the years and we want to share it with you if we can. So if you need legal questions answered I'm your girl. If you have business related questions IamXI has you covered with her MBA; and what we don't know we'll find out from our many many contacts in the financial, medical & various other fields.

Entertainment News & Events: Did you know that the Real Housewives is coming to DC...or that BET is thinking of picking up The Game? Well that's the kind of entertainment we'd like to share with you. TV shows, movies, charity events & award shows are all covered, maybe even live blogged, on XI. Stay tuned!

And finally...our most important feature will be given to us directly from you our readers. We're spotlighting a reader or someone of our choosing once a month. (In a section to be named very soon) We want YOUR stories people on everything. Success and failure, if you have a business we want to promote it, if you have a story that you want told we're going to tell it if we believe it to be beneficial to you and our readers. People working in their communities and making a difference in their own world are our favorites. We want to inspire the world with your help.

If you have the X factor... Welcome to our movement...

We have "it"… the "X factor" that everyone seems to talk about. We have that certain "Je ne sais quoi" that makes us stand out from all the rest. That thing that you can’t quite put your finger on, but you just know you like it more because of it. Well, that’s what eXclusivity, Inc. is…we put the "X" in eXclusive. It’s news, fashion, health, fitness, entertainment, sports (just to name a few) done the eXclusive way. We’re part blog / online publication with all eXclusive material. Our goal is to present fresh, relevant, and enlightening information at all times.

We believe that we are like most 20-something women. However, we feel like the good side, the driven side of positive women is something that is being ignored right now. So we're trying to tap into the young, educated career-oriented women with purpose. Our site won't be dedicated to gossip and tabloidy issues. While we both read some variation of such sites on occasion and RESPECT what they do, we are not them. We are not in this to make enemies; we want to gain allies and credibility of our own. We're trying to share our purpose in something like a mirror image of our everyday lives through our website. Since we're still a work in progress ourselves we'd like to share our growth and get other women to share theirs with us online as well. Our site will be a reflection of our personal lives and the lives of many other women like us. We really want to make being quality women popular again. We're trying to be a voice right now for ourselves and many others. Our approach is different and we believe our appeal will be infectious as others begin to visit our site.

We’re young, educated, women with a purpose. And that purpose is reflected in everything that we do and say. Now, we’re here to share our purpose and we hope that it reaches those out there who have been voiceless for so long. We’re the Cosby Show, with a little bit of A Different World, meets Sex and the City, sprinkled in some Girlfriends and a dash of Daddy’s Girls….and you have eXclusivity, Inc. In that is exactly what defines both of us: family, education, power career & class, friends, and finally self-discovery…which produces "The Grown Women Movement" we’re on.

We're a new voice in the game, and we will be heard!

Locked in!

OMG, OMG, OMG…we finally got our blog up! Kinda feels like arriving late to a very important party with important people and once YOU decide to drag your fashionably late ass up in there all of the important people are long gone and you’re left to talk to everybody else. So heyyyy everyone else…just kidding, LOL! But at least we made it…right? I think the most difficult part of blogging is creating your very first blog entry. What do you say...and with no real audience who are you saying it to? The pressure of making sure you introduce yourself to the blogosphere and your potential followers is enough to discourage anyone from blogging and comes after all of your hard work and opinions on everything…you have absolutely NOTHING TO SAY! How can this be? Because the fear of saying the wrong thing could be disastrous…I mean it could mean the difference between thousands of followers or hundreds (which I have to say…if we’re lucky enough to get one hundred people reading our opinions…I’d be happy) Now back to my hysterics!!! What if folks think you're corny or can't get with what you're blogging about? And the questions go on and on and on until you decide that blogging is only for really witty grammar Nazi’s who are so self absorbed that they’d rather write their own intellectual fodder than to respect the information given from the many well-known news organizations around the world. Which brings me to why I decided to blog…(hope you followed that!)

This entire concept came about from my incessant need to formulate opinions on any and everything and a desire to be heard. (See ‘intellectual fodder’) That idea and obsession became a reality when I realized that my BFF also shared in this neurotic behavior. So we set out to create our own reality based on our perspective. The two of us have your typical higher educational background, respectable jobs and blah blah blah…but there’s something out there we thought was missing or totally being ignored (or at the very least we’ve convinced ourselves that only we can deliver what it is we’re looking for in the best way so here we are.) Our blog will eventually evolve into a full fledged website www.exclusivity-inc.com (under construction so stay tuned) but for now we’re testing the waters to see how far we can take things, and to get some feedback from interacting with other people besides ourselves…

So if I’ve actually managed to intrigue the few people who are actually reading this…stay tuned as we fully introduce ourselves and get into this thing we call eXclusivity Inc.
