THE WORLD BIDS A FINAL FAREWELL TO MICHAEL JACKSON!

Tuesday, July 7, 2009
As Los Angeles prepares for MJ's final act. I can barely make it through typing this post. Why is it still so difficult...

Anyway, we are going to post more great memories of the King of Pop here on XI throughout the day as Michael is laid to rest on the world stage. Services begin at the Staple Center in LA at 10:00 a.m. (12 pm Eastern time)

CNN Live in conjunction with Facebook will be broadcasting the services live from the Staple Center starting at 12 pm. The feed can be picked up here.

MSNBC will also have a live feed starting at 11:00 or 12:00 ET I believe.

An estimated 1 billion people are expected to watch his funeral services online...so many of the more popular site feeds may have connections issues. So here are a few additional sites that will also be providing coverage online.

HipHollywood.com
Ustream.com (You must RSVP in order to gain access but you can log in using your FB account information)
Twitter.com (has many links to additional streams as well)
MSN.com
Yahoo.com
Ustream provided by Joe

Live feed via Ustream click "Play" to start streaming:

Michael Jackson's Body will be at his memorial service according to many news organizations.

Ok so I know I missed updating alot b/c I couldn't stand it at first. But I can type now without my eyes leaking all over the keyboard.

From twitter...

...Nothing moves my soul like music... Nothing!

Stevie's performance reminds me of the quote: "music is what emotions sound like" (via honey mag)

Using his voice and a piano, Stevie Wonder just illustrated life, death, love, pain, happiness, sadness, perfectly.

Al Sharpton..."ya'll daddy wasn't strange...how people treated him was strange."

Brooke Shields...

Jermaine Jackson told us all to SMILE...and it was beautiful!

In case you didn't already know this man that was muffled out by the media for his flaws was a humanitarian and a giving person. MLK's children gave a great tribute about how he called Coretta Scott King before her death and made her smile despite her condition.

Sheila Jackson Lee spoke about the difference MJ made by working on behalf of of the US. His told story has never been told! And that he NEVER STOPPED GIVING! Which is why the House of Reps stopped and held a moment of silence on June 25th for the American icon Michael Jackson.

Usher singing Gone. Too. Soon! And just like that I can't take it...

Will begin updating when I get myself together.

The ENTIRE Jackson family jumped up to console Usher after he nearly collapsed shaking the families hands. Whoo lawdy this is hard for alot of people!

Smokey Robinson just shared how MJ broke down the meaning to 'Who's Lovin You'. At the young age MJ sang that song he impressed Smokey because he knew what it was all about. And how fitting it was then and now. When you lose someone you treated badly as soon as they're gone you want them back to tell them how great they were. The world who treated MJ badly are now hurting the most for not recognizing his greatness.

Not sure who that child was...singing Who's Lovin You but that boy can sing...that boy good.

Ok so I'm not a We are the World fan AT ALL. All of that kumbaya mess burns my nerves...sorry but true!

Jermaine, Marlon and other siblings and family members paying tribute to Michael. So sweet seeing them honor him like this. Talk about it! What MJ went through in having to sneak to the store in hopes of not being noticed. They loved him so much!

O.M.G. Paris is up there crying and saying how much she loved her daddy! LOST IT COMPLETELY and I'm at work.

MICHAEL JACKSON WE LOVE YOU AND WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MICHAEL JACKSON...THANK YOU GOD FOR SHARING HIM WITH US.
